Let's Make Pink Just a Color was born from love, and a deep belief that a community takes care of its own.

Brittany Kelley founded this event because she knew firsthand what it felt like to face a breast cancer diagnosis. The fear, the financial strain, and the moments where you just need someone to show up. She wanted to create something bigger than a race. She wanted to create a movement that reminded people they are not alone.

Brittany passed away in September 2025, but her vision lives on in every registration, every donation, and every grant we award. We carry her name and her heart into everything we do.
